 Jo Peace

I have participated in many vocal and singing workshops over the years beginning with voice and movement workshops at University when I studied music with visual practice in Brighton, singing modules on my music foundation at Goldsmiths in New Cross, and workshops at the Tribal Earth camps which I attended each summer. These experiences led me to train with Frankie Armstrong and join the Natural voice network.
My aim is to create community and connection in a safe and non judgemental space to explore and help people free up their voices. For the joy, and sense of oneness and well being.

Surya Cooper

I teach guitar, ukulele, piano and singing  and put on events, workshops and music courses.
My first career was as a Teacher of the Deaf, and I worked with many children, young people and adults with special needs. I also trained as a Yoga teacher and use yoga breathing and other techniques when I teach singing.
I have undertaken training in Singing to Beat Parkinsons and Singing for Lung Health, Singing Mamas Training and am currently doing a Vocal Health First Aid  course- I'm always keen to learn more about the benefits of singing.
I have been writing and performing for over 30 years. I have travelled extensively, experiencing different cultures and music, collecting instruments on the way. I incorporate percussion into many of my workshops and groups although I enjoy working with the Wilful Choir as  is a wonderful acapella singing community.
I have been involved with the Natural Voice Network for many years.
I also hold a wide range of creative and wellbeing workshops throughout the country with other experienced tutors.
