For the time being we're meeting online via Zoom until the situation improves. Email us if you'd like to join us for some uplifting songs (and maybe some plain silly warm ups and movements!) on Monday evening! !
The Wilful Choir is a friendly, fun singing group, with an exciting and inspiring range of songs, for everyone. From complete beginners to more experienced singers.
All songs taught by ear, including fun and effective warm-ups. Wide variety of songs from many eras and cultures from World, Folk, Jazz to Gospel, Latin and more!
We meet on Monday evenings from 7.30-9.30pm mostly in term-time, at the lovely Canbury Pavilion, Canbury Gardens, Kingston, KT2 5AW
The pavilion is run by the Canbury Community Trust (reg. charity number 1098440) with volunteer trustees.
Volunteers rescued this 100 year old bowling pavilion weeks before it was knocked down and have turned it into a vibrant community resource for Kingston. Money made from birthday parties and hire is used to provide a cheap or free venue for several voluntary organisations
For specific dates, map and prices please see the Term Dates page.
We aim to do some fundraising performances for local charities as well as our end of term informal concerts.
Try us out for free!
Led by Surya Cooper www.suryacooper.co.uk/ and Laura Stephenson

Winter Warmer- Online but still fun!
Dec 2020 Update
We had a very successful online end of term Sharing with people zooming in from as far away as USA!
We've raised an amazing £522 so far for local homeless charity SPEAR
You can still donate btw- link below.
We made 2 recordings with many Wilfs - it was lovely, very special and moving to hear each others voices after so long. You can hear it in our Gallery.
Please do join us next term. It's been a tough year but many of us are still meeting to sing on Monday nights online.

And here's our (very long!) link for SPEAR, the charity we've chosen to support this term.
